PostalOne Release 24/FAST Release 14/New Mailing Statements/Daylight Savings March 14
This coming weekend will be packed with changes and updates. Important things to be aware of, and plan for:
*PostalOne Release 24/FAST Release 14 (click on the title links to access the PostalOne and FAST release notes documents) will be implemented on Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 10:00 pm CT through Sunday, March 14, 2010, at 8:00 am CT for PostalOne! /FAST Production. The outage for PostalOne! Production will be approximately 10 hours. During this outage, the PostalOne! application and FAST Web Services will not be available. FAST CSA module will remain available until the FAST application outage begins.
The FAST application outage will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 4:00 am CT through Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 8:00 am CT. During this outage, FAST Web Services, FAST online application and FAST CSA module will be unavailable.
PostalOne! Release 24.0 / FAST Release 14.0 will be migrated to the PostalOne! and FAST Test Environments for Mailers (TEM ) on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 4:00 am through noon CT. The outage for PostalOne! TEM will be approximately eight hours. FAST TEM migration will be accomplished in the same outage window. During this outage, the PostalOne! and FAST TEM environments will not be available.
A new MDR Client for PostalOne! will be required.
*New USPS Mailing statements dated March 14, 2010 will be required. See all forms listed here. The major change is simply the switch from BMC Bulk Mail Center to NDC National Distribution Center.
*Daylight Savings Time goes into effect at 2am.
