Hard Copy Postage Statements

without comments

Don’t forget that starting Monday, March 15th  the USPS will have new postage statements and new procedures for how the forms are completed.  The USPS will no longer fill out the USPS section of the form, and they will NOT Round Stamp the document.  Many mailers and mail owners consider this document to be proof of mailing, this will no longer be possible.

The USPS is hosting repeated webinars this week on the topic.

WEBINAR: Streamlining Hard Copy Postage Statements
As part of an ongoing effort to improve customer service while being environmentally considerate, beginning on March 15, 2010, business mail entry employees will no longer complete the “USPS® Use Only” at PostalOne!® acceptance sites. This includes the block entitled “Round Stamp (Required) Date Mail Released.”
