DMM Advisory - Booklet and Self-Mailer Recommendations
From a DMM Advisory today, regarding New Letter-Sized Booklet Standards and Folded Self-Mailer Recommendations. The new standards for these mailpieces will include only recommendations, rather than requirements. The USPS plans to continue to work with the industry to test and refine the Standards to improve the mailstream.
3/20 - Any news on this? Have heard conflicting reports from our own local post office about the booklets: are the standards REQUIRED or RECOMMENDED? More information was due “mid-March” which about come and gone…
As of now — are the new tabbing standards for booklets REQUIRED or RECOMMENDED?

As of 3/20 the final rules have not come out. I will be sure to post as soon as there is any news. Thanks for the kind words about the blog, appreciate the comments.
